MindLights® is a "mind machine" — a device for audio-visual stimulation (AVS), also called audio-visual entrainment. This instrument implements high-end technology to not only induce relaxation and trance-like states, but also to stimulate the mind and alleviate certain physical and mental problems.

Hardware
Following an elaborate protocol based on your individual treatment goals, MindLights apply visual and auditive stimuli in a concerted pattern.
A comfortable and light LED mask unique among AVS products provides the visual stimuli. It can display the entire spectrum of color in freely chosen frequencies and variation patterns. While wearing the mask, your entire visual field will be engulfed by visual effects.
At the same time, the headphones provide a wide range of auditive effects, like especially stimulating sounds (e.g. binaural, pulsed, and isochronic sounds), background music of your choice, different kinds of noise, and so on.

Software
The MindLights® Software is very easy to use and automatically generates AV sessions adapted to the user's needs.
With increased experience, you can use the software to create your own sessions and select every aspect of color, frequency and waveform, and the order in which they appear , thereby composing your very own audio-visual symphony that you can share with other MindLights users.

Mode of operation
Using MindLights® is very easy. They are operated through a PC or laptop. A USB stick with the necessary software is included in the MindLights package. The MindLights® LED-mask is connected to a free USB port, and the headphones are connected to the LED-mask. Quality headphones are included, but you can also use your own.
